Publication Ethic
In reference to the principles of research ethics and the provisions of the Publishing Ethics Committee outlined in paragraph (14) of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Directorate of Research and Development letter No. 4/7961 dated 15/10/2018, the Editorial Board of Wahj Al-Uloom Journal for Pure Sciences has established its own scientific publishing ethics as follows:
Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief of Wahj Al-Uloom Journal for Pure Sciences, in collaboration with the members of the Editorial Board, is responsible for the confidential selection of appropriate peer reviewers.
Editorial Board Members
The Editorial Board members are responsible for:

Selecting appropriate reviewers for manuscripts submitted to the journal.

Maintaining the confidentiality of the review process.

Conducting an initial assessment and evaluation of manuscripts to determine their suitability for publication or rejection prior to sending them to reviewers.
Authors
Authors are required to ensure the originality of their research and adherence to the highest academic and ethical standards. Accordingly, they must:

Ensure the credibility and integrity of the submitted work by accurately citing sources and presenting data without fabrication or manipulation, while upholding academic honesty.

Avoid listing the names of individuals who did not make an actual contribution to the research.

Revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewers’ comments, and, in the event of disagreement with such comments, provide a well-reasoned justification.

Submit all manuscripts to plagiarism detection software, ensuring that the similarity index does not exceed 20%.

Refrain from submitting manuscripts that have been previously published elsewhere, and avoid simultaneous submission to multiple journals, as such practices violate publishing ethics.
Peer Review and Reviewers

All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by two reviewers.

Reviewers must provide a detailed report on the accuracy, originality, and scientific value of the manuscript, following the journal’s specific review form.

The journal administration maintains strict confidentiality regarding the identities of peer reviewers.

If one reviewer submits a negative report, the manuscript is referred to a third reviewer for a final decision.

Reviewers are expected to exercise objectivity and avoid any form of personal bias.

Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest.

Reviewers are expected to adhere to the time frame allocated for the review process.
Plagiarism (Academic Misconduct)
The journal considers plagiarism or academic misconduct to be an unethical practice in research and scientific publishing. The journal reserves the right to take all necessary actions against individuals who violate the principles and standards of scientific research ethics.
Copyright
Copyright is transferred to the journal once the author is notified of the manuscript’s acceptance for publication.
Publication Schedule
The journal adheres to its publication schedule, issuing two issues per year.
Intellectual Property Rights
The journal is committed to preserving the intellectual property rights of authors.
