Use of the Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
The Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is a standardized global system used for citing and linking electronic resources. It consists of a unique alphanumeric string assigned to a document by the publisher at the time of its initial electronic publication. The DOI is permanent and does not change over time, ensuring that when authors use it to link to documents online, access to the cited material is reliably maintained regardless of any changes to its web location.
The AREJ has adopted its own DOI system, assigning each published article a unique identifier under the prefix 10.33899/jwups, thereby ensuring consistent and permanent scholarly referencing for all published research works.
